Future of Hadoop? [closed]

I am a software developer having 4 years experience and little bit of experience in Hadoop. Now I am getting new project and ill be working fully on Hadoop thingy.

As Hadoop is still evolving, I would like to know whether Hadoop is really going to be the widely used technology in the future? Will it be something like JEE platform or will it die soon just like some of the other technologies? What do you guys think about Hadoop platform?
